Tuskegee Legacy…Let’s Make it Endure!
The Northeastern region of the Tuskegee National Alumni Association (TNAA) is home to 13 states - Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia. The Northeastern region also includes some of the largest and most exciting metropolitan cities in the nation, including New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Pittsburgh, and Newark. We participate in the implementation of goals and programs of the TNAA through regional and national interaction.
In 1938 Mr. Ernest Dimitry, class of 1916, led a movement that organized the first Region to coordinate local club developments in the Northeastern part of the country. It wasn’t until 1964 the organization was formalized as Tuskegee National Alumni Association (TNAA).
“Excellence is to do a common thing in an uncommon way.”
